Sales Operations Manager (m/f/d)

DSEI is firmly established as the leading international defence exhibition in the UK and Japan. With the introduction of DSEI Germany, the portfolio will be expanded to include a European edition. The first event will take place from 9 to 12 March 2027 at the Hannover Messe, one of the largest and most modern venues in the world.
DSEI Germany is aimed at a high-ranking international audience, including over
1,600 exhibitors, government delegations, national pavilions and companies from the classic and non-traditional defence and security technology sectors.
Your tasks
- Sales support:
You will support the sales team in all day-to-day operations and ensure the professional implementation of internal processes – from the preparation of offers to the execution of contracts. - Customer service & communication:
You will support our national and international customers in the context of order processing, be available as a reliable point of contact and ensure structured communication. - Order management & system maintenance:
You will enter and maintain customer data in CRM and ERP systems, track contract statuses and coordinate internal release processes. - Interface coordination:
You will work closely with the finance department to ensure smooth collaboration. - Reporting & analysis:
You will support the creation of evaluations, forecasts and internal presentations for distribution management. - Process optimisation:
You will make suggestions for improving existing processes and help to increase efficiency in order processing.
Your profile
- Degree in business administration, event management or a comparable commercial qualification
- Initial to several years of experience in sales operations, internal sales or customer service, ideally in the trade fair environment or the security and defence-related industry
- High level of diligence, organisational skills and reliability
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and MS Office, especially Excel
- Team-oriented, proactive and service-oriented approach to work
